Det kunne have set godt ud – hvis jeg ellers havde nået det! Sportsfotografering går hurtigt, men ud over action-billederne er sportsfotos for mig også still-billeder eller rolige billeder, hvor jeg forsøger at fange en stemning i sporten. En stemning, der ikke kun ligger i udfoldelsen, men også i venteperioden og forberedelsen.

That might have made a nice shot – if only I’d made it! Action- and sport photographing is fast, but beside these pictures sport photographing to me also still-pictures or nearly so. Pictures in which I try to capture the atmosphere of the sport. An atmosphere that lies not only in the moment of action, but equally in the waiting and in the preperations.
